Wink is a very sweet, approx. 3 year old, neutered male, albino Dobie (originally thought to be a Weim) that loves everyone he meets. Wink doesn’t seem to notice that he is missing an eye. The vet believes that Wink may have run into something and gouged his eye, so we had no choice but to remove the eye.
When rescue agreed to take Wink, he was emaciated and very, very sick. Wink is putting on weight, and looking better every day. He has a pale, blue eye, a pink nose, and a docked tail. Wink walks well on a leash, but will need obedience training. He will also need an owner that has experience with big, young dogs. He is very food motivated. He is crate trained, and has had only one accident since we had him.
Wink’s foster family does not have cats, but they stated that he does not seem to be interested in the birds or squirrels in the yard. He does well behind the fence, and does not try to go over or under it. He will need someone with the time and energy to give him the training and exercise he needs. He gets along well with his foster brothers and sister. Won’t you love and spoil this sweet boy forever?
Wink's adoption fee is $275. He has been fully vetted and microchipped.
